The results of the author's own research on the definition of morphological signs complex aiming to determine injured person and АК-74 submachine gun interposition at wounding. It is established that the character of soot zones and rub (abrasion) rings on fabric of clothes and human body are connected with modified position of gun barrel and gunshot distance. The statistically significant linear regression models and algorithm of decisions support system have been designed; the theoretical formula has been proposed. It allows determining injured person and АК-74 submachine gun interposition at wounding based on specific shot traces on the barriers considering the wound channel directions in relation to the principal body planes.
